Job Description
Join Danbury as a Memory Care Coordinator where you will lead and implement therapeutic programs for residents with dementia. Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance the quality of life for residents while enjoying a supportive work family environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate therapeutic programs for residents
Assess resident characteristics and organize program content
Monitor daily functioning of the memory care neighborhood
Assist in training and education of staff on memory care programs
Develop cooperative relationships and maintain effective communication with staff
Market the memory care program and participate in community organizations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Conduct pre-admission assessments for potential residents
Assist with resident admissions and transitions
Required Qualifications
Must be an LPN
Two years of previous experience in programming in assisted living environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Alzheimer’s and other dementia individuals
3-5 years of experience in memory care
Background in nursing providing one-on-one care for seniors
Flexible schedule including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
