The Bariatric Medicine Physician at WellSpan Medical Weight Management specializes in obesity medicine, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care including telemedicine. The role involves supervising CRNPs, managing patient referrals, and potentially expanding pediatric weight management services. WellSpan Medical Weight Management is seeking a dynamic Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician who is board certified in Obesity Medicine. A good understanding of telemedicine & Epic is preferred. This collegial team is separate from Bariatric Surgery and works collaboratively to provide patients with the best care possible. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, compassionate & open minded and comfortable supervising CRNPs.

Practice Specifics:

• Innovative providers include a lead physician & several experienced CRNPs.
• Program Administrator & experienced practice managers.
• Prior authorizations handled by a dedicated team.
• Strong referral base from a 6-county area & focus on increased patient access.
• Hybrid model of remote/in person.
• 40-minute new patient & 20-minute follow-up.
• May eventually develop a Pediatric Weight Management Program.
