Key Responsibilities
Teach a robust literature curriculum with an emphasis on inclusive texts and diversity
Develop students' independent and collaborative reading, writing, and discussion skills
Facilitate student-led discourse and analyze student comprehension
Build positive relationships with students and their families
Engage in data analysis with school leadership to improve student outcomes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools
Academic expertise in Humanities, English, Social Sciences, or related fields
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years experience in K-12 education
Eligibility for New York state certification
