Location: Dothan, AL

Role Overview:
Join Southeast Health as an Inpatient Pharmacist on a 16-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for pharmacists with 2+ years of hospital experience, including first-time travelers. You will provide expert medication management for a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, in a 420-bed acute care facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and monitor medications in an inpatient/acute care setting
• Clinical dosing including anticoagulants, cardiac, pediatric, geriatric, and renal dosing
• Therapeutic medication monitoring and psychotherapeutic management
• Utilize Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• IV Certification required
• RPh and AL State License required
• First-time travelers welcome

Schedule Highlights:

• Nights 7 on / 7 off (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Every other weekend included as part of the 7-day rotation – no call required
• Block scheduling available for improved work-life balance

Facility Requirements:

• COVID-19 Vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Flu Vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Experience in larger healthcare facilities preferred
