Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily work and safety of delivery associates
  • Analyze data for optimal delivery plans
  • Direct labor activities within budget
  • Recommend work schedules and changes
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance
  • Review productivity reporting
  • Implement efficiency ideas and cost reductions
  • Train staff on company policies and procedures
  • Communicate with Sales Management and Marketing
  • Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and performance goals

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to engage and lead discussions and meetings
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret various forms of instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or four-year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management
  • HazMat certification
  • Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
