Job Description
Join Gulfstream Aerospace as an Avionics/Electrical Technician IV, where you will lead and perform vital tests and repairs on advanced avionics systems. Key Responsibilities
Lead operational, functional tests and repairs of avionics/electronic systems
Provide training to personnel and ensure quality and efficiency of installations
Troubleshoot and teach troubleshooting processes for timely quality repairs
Oversee compliance with engineering changes and modifications
Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance
Maintain daily logs and documentation of work performed
Enforce safety regulations and company programs
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Six (6) years experience in avionics/electrical field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
Other FCC License
Other NCATT
Proficiency in operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines
APU run qualification
Engine run qualification
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
