CookUnity is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily operations in the marketplace, ensuring efficiency and compliance in ingredient handling. This role is vital for supporting chef partners and enhancing the overall success of the company's mission to provide great food.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accuracy and compliance of ingredient and packaging receiving practices
Review site layouts for optimal storage and handling
Focus on distribution model deployment across all categories
Develop and ensure compliance with process for checking incoming shipments
Train and develop team members for operational needs
Focus on continuous improvement across core functions
Create and establish a food safety movement
Continuous oversight of inventory levels
Aid in development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain excellent relationships with chef partners
Understanding of Profit and Loss statements and KPI metrics
Oversight of scheduling for the Marketplace team
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Minimum of 3 years of people management experience
Strong understanding of HACCP and OSHA guidelines
Experience in food procurement and extensive food knowledge
Experience in inventory management
Expert understanding of supply chain or inventory control software
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Understanding of food safety and quality standards
Ability to promote professional growth and development of the team
Ability to communicate and understand Spanish is preferred
Able to work onsite each work day (Atlanta, GA 30312)
