Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, MOAB
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, efficient care to patients in the Emergency & Trauma Unit
• Perform rapid assessments and interventions for acute and critical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and interventions
• Respond to emergencies and deliver life-saving interventions
• Support patients and families with empathy and professionalism during challenging situations
