Key Responsibilities
Provide basic nursing care by assessing residents and implementing care plans
Administer medications and treatments
Monitor residents' conditions and respond to emergencies

Required Qualifications
Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in LPN certification
Current LPN license in the state of employment
CPR and AED certification required or willing to obtain within six months
IV certification required or willing to obtain within six months
Ability to assess the basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
Excellent communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques
Ability to transfer and move patients weighing 200+ lbs
Ability to push and pull equipment weighing in excess of 40 lbs
Manual dexterity and coordination
Visual acuity to distinguish color
Ability to perform documentation electronically and in writing
