Key Responsibilities
Provides competent patient care by interpreting data and making appropriate decisions
Follows IR policies, procedures, and practices
Assists the physician in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
Instructs student technologists and peers as required
Completes job-related paperwork including consent forms and inventory
Ensures safe transportation of patients to and from the Radiology Department
Required Qualifications
Credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Credentialed in Cardiovascular/Interventional Technology (CIT) or Vascular Interventional (VI) by ARRT or willing to obtain within 2 years
Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual
Ability to work flexible hours
Basic computer skills
Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to employment or within 60 days of hire
Complete Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year as a diagnostic radiographer
