Join Verizon as an Outside Plant Technician and ensure our outside plant facilities operate efficiently. You'll be responsible for installing and maintaining cables and hardware, working on America's fastest and most reliable network. This is a full-time role where your skills in construction and teamwork will make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities
Placing, rearranging and removing outside plant cables and hardware
Connecting wires and cables to terminals and hardware
Reading and interpreting engineering work orders
Performing construction work using designated equipment
Operating Company motor vehicles to transport equipment
Climbing ladders and poles, working aloft, and lifting items
Working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Required Qualifications
Valid state drivers license with a satisfactory driving record
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
Preferred Qualifications
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience
Completed Verizon Technician Program or similar programs covering electrical or lineman training
