Job Description
Join CHRISTUS Health as a Clinical Pharmacist II, where you'll manage patient pharmacotherapy, ensure safe drug therapies, and educate patients while working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
Prepares and dispenses drug orders according to established policies
Maintains accurate patient drug records
Supervises pharmacy support personnel
Provides clinical consultation and drug information to staff
Participates in quality improvement and medication use review activities
Conducts clinical projects and interventions as defined by department goals
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree
BPS Board Certification, Residency, Fellowship, or at least 5 years of hospital experience
Pharmacy state licensure required within 60 days of start date
Pharmacist preceptor required within 90 days
BLS or ACLS required
PALS required for pediatric practice
ASHP Residency Preceptor status required within 180 days of hire
