Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, providing essential crisis interventions to children and young adults in Staten Island. Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to make a significant impact on mental health crises in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CMCT email and respond to crisis referrals
Conduct risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Create safety plans with clients and families
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Provide short-term clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Assist with intake process for new consumers
Enhance communication between Family Advocates and consumer families
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient in reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual clinicians preferred if relevant to the population serviced at site
