Overview This is a temporary position expecting to last 6 months with the possibility of an extension or conversion to permanent employment. Responsibilities This position is responsible for the design and deployment of Enterprise IT systems and solutions:
Lead the delivery of IT projects within the organization.
Help develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans.
Develop sophisticated system standards and recommend improvements to enhance performance.
Define and document best practices and support procedures.
Assist with hardware, software, and vendor evaluation.
Perform research, troubleshoot, and provide resolution to complex issues for new system technologies, on prem and cloud-based, in physical and virtual deployments.
Carry out special tasks at Management's direction.
Interact with staff and other peer groups at the technical level, as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area); an advanced degree is preferred.
5 years of related experience is required.
Microsoft Certifications (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
General knowledge of Windows Server (2008 – 2019)
General knowledge of Microsoft Application Servers and technologies
Microsoft modern management experience.
A solid understanding of core networking, operating systems and troubleshooting concepts.
General knowledge about Group Policy design and configuration.
General knowledge about Microsoft 365/Office 365/ Azure/ Intune expertise (MS Cloud) with all services required.
Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
Experience in global deployments and rollouts of new technologies is a plus.
A good understanding of core networking, operating systems and troubleshooting concepts.
General knowledge about Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration services.
Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
Knowledge and some experience in AI areas like machine learning, AI engineering, Data engineering/scientist is in plus.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length.
Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently.
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
