Soloh Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Manager, Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Brooklyn, New York.
Position: Nurse Manager, Emergency Department
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay Rate: $75/hr
Schedule: Days Shift 5x8 8am - 4pm Exempt Position with no OT
Duties:
-Develops long-term unit staffing schedules and ensures adequate daily coverage in accordance with established staffing needs.
-Develops measures and monitors unit operational performance metrics inclusive, agency and overtime costs, vacancy and turnover rates.
-Oversees the daily workflow, staffing, orientation, training and development of employees within the department.
-Responsible for the ongoing quality/performance improvement processes related to the emergency department.
-Promote and support a collaborative team approach in providing care for all ED and trauma patients.
-Approach others in a tactful manner and treat others with respect and consideration.
-Support and interpret policies, procedures, and objectives of the hospital.
Requirements:
-Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience of management and/or supervisory in the Emergency Department.
- MUST have ED experience for this role.
- Must have a Masters Degree in Nursing
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- BLS, ACLS, & PALS
