Key Responsibilities
Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action
Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage the scene
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses
Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel
Required Qualifications
CA Driver’s License
CA State Paramedic Card
CA Ambulance Driver's License with Issued Date
American Heart Association Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS
Medical Examiner's Certificate
Confirmation of scheduled date for EMS Orientation Webinar or completion certification
Preferred Qualifications
ICS 100, ICS 200, NIMS 700
Proof of Vaccinations (TDaP, TB, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Influenza)
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Advanced education
