Bed Count: 16-bed palliative/general medicine/surgery unit
Staffing Ratios: 1:5 RN-to-patient
Floating Requirement: Must Float to Med/surg and Oncology.
Will do either 36hr or 48hr Contracts
Primary Population: Symptom management and/or end of life care for patients with conditions like cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, pulmonary disease or neurological disease
Commonly utilized skills include:
Dubhoff/NGT placement and management Various intravenous drips (e.g. cardiac, insulin, heparin, and cardiac monitoring)
