Job Description
Join Spring View Hospital as a Charge Nurse in the Emergency Room, where you'll lead nursing staff, manage patient care, and ensure quality clinical operations in a dynamic environment. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and foster professional growth among your team.
Key Responsibilities
Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assigned shift
Determines staffing level and assignments based on staff availability and patient acuity
Provides direct patient care as needed
Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies issues affecting outcomes
Responds to complaints about patient care
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in nursing
Current RN license in the state of Kentucky
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
1+ years of ER experience
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
PALS certification within 6 months of hire
Certification in area of specialty
