Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Apple Valley, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiographic examinations on infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Complete 10 echo scans and reports per 10-hour shift
• Conduct various echo procedures including 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, TEE, Stress Echo, and portable studies
• Work variable day shifts starting at 0700 or 0900
• Take on-call shifts 0-2 times per week from 1730-0700
• Work up to 6 weekend days per 6-week schedule
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Float between facilities within the state as required
• Maintain current BLS certification and required specialty certifications
• Complete pre-start and annual training modules (average 16 hours, self-reported)
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Maintain valid California state license
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery

Job Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered license in CA


• Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty


• Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements


• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)

Other Required Documentation:

• Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)


• Two current clinical references


• State-required professional license


• Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)


• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)


• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)


• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations


• Must pass background check and drug screening
