Job Description

Join Sysco’s World Class Sales Team as a Sales Consultant, where you'll drive business growth by building relationships with new and existing accounts. This role offers competitive compensation, specialized training, and opportunities for career advancement within a purpose-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts
  • Seek and qualify prospects
  • Research customer business needs and develop product mixes
  • Evaluate market trends and recommend products
  • Provide product information and training
  • Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts
  • Collect accounts receivable as necessary
  • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order process issues
  • Participate in company functions and customer events
  • Attend sales and district meetings
  • Engage in ongoing training sessions
  • Assist with training of new employees
  • Perform administrative duties and prepare sales reports

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline
  • HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience
  • Completion of the Sysco Sales Internship
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Current automobile insurance with specified limits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bi-Lingual
  • Restaurant Management experience
  • Foodservice Outside Sales experience
  • Chef Experience
