Join The Jewish Board as a Medical Director, providing leadership in integrated care at a Coordinated Community Behavioral Health Center. Lead clinical teams and support psychiatric practices while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with mental health and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to clinicians and programs
Lead clinical team meetings and high-risk meetings
Assist with clinical consultations and prescription coverage
Support psychiatric best practices and quality improvement processes
Supervise NPP students and newly graduated NPPs
Provide direct client services
Required Qualifications
Active New York State medical license
DEA certification
Extensive experience providing psychiatric care
Experience in Substance Use Treatment
Preferred Qualifications
Subspecialty board certification in addiction psychiatry
Certification from the American Society of Addiction Medicine
Certification by the American Board of Addiction Medicine
Subspecialty board certification in Addiction Medicine from the American Osteopathic Association
