Key Responsibilities
Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork.
Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor in accordance with patient care needs.
Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree required
Currently licensed as an RN in the State of TX and/or has an active compact license
Basic Cardiac Life Support issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required at hire
1+ years of recent acute care experience preferably in unit required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Supervisory/Charge experience preferred
