Software Development Manager / .NET / C# / New Jersey

Description

A software company based in South Jersey is seeking a Software Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the .NET/C# development environment, along with recent managerial experience. This role primarily involves overseeing the team and ensuring project deliverables are met, rather than hands-on coding. The candidate should be able to engage in coding when necessary and communicate effectively with non-technical business teams.

The position is full-time and direct hire . The company is located in Burlington, NJ, and prefers candidates who are comfortable working onsite, as face-to-face interaction is essential for this leadership role.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of software development experience with .NET / C#
• Experience with .NET Core / Version 6+
• At least 2 years of managerial/leadership experience, including overseeing direct reports, hiring, firing, and technical oversight
• Ability to interface with clients and business partners
• Willingness to be onsite a few days a week

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (optional)
