Performs diagnostic imaging examinations ensuring quality diagnostic images Ensures accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures Implements radiation safety guidelines and conducts proper radiation protection practices Navigates the electronic medical record (EMR) system Performs mobile imaging and dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) procedures Completion of an educational program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment Licensure with the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) if working in North Dakota Permit to practice through the Iowa Department of Public Health if working in Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification within the first eight weeks of hire for some clinic locations Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Generous time off package
