MedAdventures is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a local contract job in Macon, Mississippi. Physical Therapist ~ Discipline: Therapy ~ Shift: 8 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Local Contract MedAdventures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical background, adaptability across various care settings, and a passion for improving patient mobility, independence, and quality of life. Outpatient Therapy Clinic: Serving patients across the lifespan, including children. Acute Inpatient Hospital Beds: Providing therapy in a fast-paced, acute care setting Skilled Nursing Facility: Treating long-term care residents (approximately 30 beds) Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and nursing staff. Accurately document treatment sessions, goals, and progress in EMR systems. Valid MS licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices. Experience in inpatient care, acute care settings, is preferred but not required.
