Key Responsibilities
Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process
Communicate with others on vehicle repair status
Perform quality repairs while maintaining timely status
Make decisions on repair vs. replace
Remove upholstery, accessories, and trim to access vehicle
Participate in safety meetings
Use power tools and hand tools for repairs
Direct the work of an apprentice when needed
Required Qualifications
Ability to use frame machine
Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
Must be able to pass thorough background check
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in body repair
I-CAR welding certified
Ability to supervise repair personnel
