Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care
Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team
Conduct population-specific comprehensive assessments
Educate patients and families regarding pain management
Develop and revise individualized plans of care
Document nursing processes and patient responses
Maintain fetal monitoring competencies

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current licensure in the state of Connecticut
Certification in ACLS and NRP upon hire or within one year
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
Electric Fetal Monitoring Certification within one year

Preferred Qualifications

Labor and delivery experience
Basic computer skills
