Job Description
Join Giant Eagle as a Senior HR Coordinator in our Distribution Center, where you'll play a crucial role in payroll processing and supporting Team Members' needs. Key Responsibilities
Support weekly payroll processing and ensure accurate pay for Team Members
Manage attendance tracking and maintain documentation
Assist with Team Members' issues including payroll discrepancies
Organize and facilitate new hire orientations
Update and post bid letters if applicable
Handle miscellaneous payroll matters and I-9 verifications
Assist HR Team members as needed
Required Qualifications
6 months to 1 year HR administrative experience
MS Office suite proficiency
Kronos UKG timekeeping software experience
Workday HCMS experience
Understanding of OSHA safety regulations
Knowledge of general HR laws
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of HR related DOT regulations
Knowledge of labor agreements
Experience processing payroll for a unionized workforce
High school diploma or equivalent with 18 months+ of additional training
