Join Optum as a Production Pharmacy Technician and play a crucial role in improving health outcomes by supporting pharmacy operations. You will assist with inventory management, medication preparation, and ensure compliance with safety standards in a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with ordering, receiving, counting, and maintaining inventory
Unpack and ensure proper placement of received inventory according to storage requirements
Accurately gather medications and supplies according to specifications
Label prepared compounded sterile products
Assist with cleaning of pharmacy prep area and sterile product complex
Sanitize medications and supplies for cleanroom entry
Restock pharmacy and cleanroom supplies
Organize medication orders for production
Package and label prepared medication orders
Prepare and scan compounding record documentation
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or registration where required by state law
1+ years of experience with computers and MS Office products
Ability to stand, walk, and lift 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
