Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Mechanical Plant Engineer and play a pivotal role in supporting and executing projects across our manufacturing facilities. You will be tasked with identifying and solving technical challenges while ensuring that all equipment and processes adhere to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate on capital projects for manufacturing facilities
Take responsibility for mechanical aspects of projects
Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety
Create and maintain sustainable documentation
Design solutions that comply with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines
Deliver technical support to Production and Maintenance departments
Coordinate with process engineering, production, maintenance, and supply management teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
Demonstrates good judgment, self-motivation, and a commitment to safety
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Flexibility to handle diverse assignments
Ability to perform hands-on work and collaborate on the shop floor
Preferred Qualifications
Technically proficient in CAD modeling (Solid Edge; AutoCAD)
Willingness to occasionally work off shifts
Ability to travel between facilities in Northeast Ohio
