Key Responsibilities
Provides respiratory care treatment and oxygen services
Performs diagnostic testing and ventilation support services
Sets up, monitors, and weans Oxygen Therapy and Artificial ventilation
Draws, analyzes, and reports Arterial Blood Gases and EKGs
Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans
Documents all clinical information regarding each patient
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree
Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire
