Job Description
Join CHS Inc as an Outside Sales Representative and drive sales for our Cenex® branded products. This role offers growth potential as you work independently and collaborate with teams to enhance customer relationships and profitability in the Wisconsin area.
Key Responsibilities
Increase sales and profitability for the cooperative through sales, marketing, and consulting processes for Cenex® products
Implement and support current customer programs and develop new customer markets
Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with various teams to enhance sales visibility
Identify customer needs and provide consultative services
Prepare sales presentations, contracts, bids, and proposals
Provide training to co-op staff and customers
Service customer complaints and inquiries
Use CRM for tracking results and communications
Manage and complete special projects
Develop knowledge of multiple energy products
Promote a strong collaborative and safety culture
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency
Knowledge of Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Business Operations
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
2 plus years of outside sales experience
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Previous outside sales experience including presentations, persuasive negotiation skills, customer service, conflict resolution, and working independently
Petroleum, Refined Fuels, or Lubricant experience
Experience developing marketing plans, calculating margins, and profit
Mechanical understanding of equipment
