Job Description
Join Boeing as a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer and contribute to innovative projects that enhance operational effectiveness and quality in government services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop systems engineering processes that support critical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, document, and elicit customer requirements
Assess operational availability, mission effectiveness, and cost scenarios
Support selection and implementation of analysis models
Produce analysis to improve fleet performance
Coordinate with customers and present trade-study analysis results
Support modification of simulation models
Support model optimization tasks
Support development and maintenance of product roadmaps
Lead and manage projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
3+ years of experience in systems engineering
3+ years’ experience building stakeholder and customer relationships
Experience with operations, logistics modeling and supply chain modeling
Simulation analysis experience covering discrete event simulations and trade study models
Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
5 or more years’ related work experience
5+ years of experience in systems engineering
5+ years’ experience building stakeholder and customer relationships
Agile development experience
Familiarity with modeling tools such AFSIM, LSAS, OPUS and/or SIMLOX
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Software development, integration and test, data science and visualization/animation
