Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures
Administer radio-pharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging
Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners
Evaluate images for technical quality
Maintain communication with radiologists and other physicians
Educate patients regarding procedures and ensure safety
Perform quality control and reporting tasks
Contribute to efficient out-patient operations
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification
Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (PET technologists only)
CT Certification within 180 days of hire
1+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiology, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine
Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions
Demonstrated ability to adequately use, or learn to use, the department’s computerized system and its associated devices
