Job Description
Join Carrier Global as an HVAC Estimator and leverage your expertise to ensure customer comfort through quality installations and maintenance of HVAC systems. This role offers a chance to work independently and collaboratively while making impactful decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical malfunctions and making recommendations
Performing regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units
Installing, replacing, or repairing equipment
Assisting in planning and designing new installations of heating and air-conditioning systems
Providing estimates of materials required
Reading blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers
Recognizing risks and safety hazards in HVAC operations
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
Ability to push/pull/lift 50lbs
High School Diploma/GED
Valid and current Driver's License
Must be a current union member or willing to join a union
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of building automation controls
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax
