The Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate and professional nursing care to patients with mental health and behavioral disorders. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on medication management, coping strategies, and community resources.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and follow all infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in team meetings, treatment planning, and staff development activities.
