Key Responsibilities
Position patients accurately for treatment
Administer prescribed doses of radiation
Perform regular equipment checks
Review prescription and patient information for compliance
Follow radiation protection principles
Maintain required records and reports
Conduct treatment sessions independently
Enter data and operate or adjust equipment
Observe and reassure patients during treatment
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
One year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist required
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT Certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required
