Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and articulate the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Medical Center and Nursing Service
Maintain a safe and caring environment that supports clinical practice and customer service
Serve as a liaison to clinical staff, physicians, and support staff
Problem-solve supply management and equipment issues
Research and communicate information on new equipment, supplies, and procedures
Required Qualifications
Current New York State licensure as Registered Nurse
Three years previous Operating Room experience
Demonstrates clinical competency as an OR nurse in both the scrub and circulating roles
Valid CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
CNOR certification preferred
Demonstrated leadership experience in charge or resource role
