Key Responsibilities
Respond to attraction downtimes and support urgent needs
Develop scope for attraction reliability improvement
Monitor downtime trends for reliability efforts
Investigate and troubleshoot ride systems
Plan and coordinate Sustaining Engineering tasks
Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Controls Systems experience in amusement park or industrial/manufacturing
Dynamic, kinematic, hydraulic, and pneumatic analysis
Knowledge of electronic control systems and signal processing
Experience with electrical motor controls and industrial automation PLCs
Familiarity with National and California Electrical Code
AutoCAD proficiency
Object-oriented programming (C/C++)
Ladder logic development
Wiring and interconnect diagrams knowledge
Understanding of ANSI, ASTM, and IEEE standards
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
California Professional Registration
Experience in controls circuit design/troubleshooting
Knowledge of PDL and ICL
Experience with safety PLCs and industrial controls
Familiarity with audio/visual systems
Understanding of systems reliability
Scripting in C, VB, JS, etc.
