Job Description

Join Kaiser as a Psychologist on the Adult Team, where you'll provide vital mental health services, collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team, and make a significant impact on patients' lives through treatment and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical treatment programs
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
  • Conduct psychological assessments and maintain confidential records
  • Collaborate with physicians on psychotropic medications
  • Provide clinical supervision to psychology doctoral interns and trainees
  • Participate in departmental program development and evaluation

Required Qualifications

  • PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology
  • Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire
  • Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions
  • Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous clinical responsibility in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
  • Experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, and families
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality of service and teamwork
