The Clinical Field Educator empowers first-year field clinicians through comprehensive training and hands-on support, enhancing their efficiency and patient care skills. This role involves assessing clinicians, customizing learning experiences, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Train new field clinicians during the 8-week orientation
Assess and document new field clinicians' skills and knowledge
Facilitate performance-based learning pathways
Coach field clinicians on fundamentals while providing patient care
Customize learning paths and create remediation plans
Manage preceptor assignments
Conduct hands-on clinical skill checks
Evaluate learning needs and develop remediation plans
Required Qualifications
Minimum of three years’ clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare facility
Minimum of 1 year of Home Health and/or Hospice experience
Currently licensed to practice by the state
CPR certification
Valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance
