Position Overview

HumanEdge is seeking an experienced Travel ICU RN for a Level III Trauma ICU in Keene, New Hampshire . This role involves managing critically ill patients across the lifespan (adolescent to geriatric), providing high-acuity care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The ICU nurse may float to PCU as needed.

Unit Details

• Beds: 10

• Patient Ratio: 2:1

• Patient Population: Adolescent–Geriatric

• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for critically ill patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and vasoactive medication titration

• Manage arterial lines, IV drips, and advanced monitoring devices

• Respond to emergencies and participate in code events

• Float to PCU as needed

• Precept new staff and support charge nurse responsibilities as appropriate

• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate care plans

Requirements

• Active RN license – NH or compact

• Minimum 2 years current ICU experience – Required

• ACLS & BLS (AHA) – Required

• NIHSS certification – Required

• Epic EMR experience – Required

• Strong proficiency with arterial lines, IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications

• Charge nurse or preceptor experience – Preferred
