Now Hiring: Travel Registered Nurse – PACU
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Important: Applicants Must reside 50 miles or more from zip code 30046
Schedule: 13 weeks | 12 hour Nights 7p-730a | Must work 2 Major and 1 Minor Holiday
Key responsibilities:
• Monitor and care for patients immediately after surgery as they recover from anesthesia
• Assess vital signs, manage pain, ensure airway management, administer medications, update patient records, and educate patients and their families on post-operative care
• Address potential complications and provide emotional support, working collaboratively with surgeons and anesthesiologists
• Assess for signs of complications like bleeding, infection, or adverse reactions to anesthesia
• Assist with patient transfers and discharge planning
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience, working in specialty
• Active RN License in GA or compact license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Previous travel experience preferred
