Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
  • If not ABEM, must have at least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience within the past 3 years
• Board Eligible candidates must become Board Certified within 5 years of becoming admissible to take the exam
• ACLS & PALS required for non-ABEM providers
• Must demonstrate 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine within the past 3 years (completion of EM residency in the previous 2 years will satisfy this requirement)
• Active NC License
