Join a high-impact correctional health team, a 420-bed behavioral health facility. We’re seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse with a passion for psychiatric and correctional care.

Position Highlights:

• 13-week contract with potential for extension
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Required to work weekends and holidays (every other weekend)
• Patient ratios within California State guidelines
• Duties include passing medications, blood draws, and direct patient care
• EMR: Cerner

Candidate Requirements:

• Active California RN License (must be current or in process)
• 2+ years of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience
• Prior experience in a correctional or locked behavioral health setting strongly preferred
• MAB/CPI certification REQUIRED
• BLS and LA Fire Card REQUIRED
• COVID-19 vaccination + booster REQUIRED

• Scrubs: Any color (Navy Blue or Black preferred)
• PPE provided on-site

• Credentialing process takes approx. 1 month; documents due 2 weeks prior to start
• LA County feedback may take 3–5 business days
