Key Responsibilities
Arrange appointments for care
Ensure insurance requirements are met prior to service delivery
Calm and defuse irate callers and patients
Answer inquiries from patients, physicians, clients, or staff
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of medical insurance terminology
Computer skills for scheduling
Familiarity with general office procedures
Exceptional customer service skills
Verifying insurance eligibility
Explaining financial requirements to patients
Processing requests in a time-sensitive environment
Professionalism in stressful situations
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of medical/radiology terminology
Minimum 3 years medical office/authorization/insurance experience
