HumanEdge Health is seeking a highly experienced and versatile Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week assignment in New Britain, Connecticut . This role is best suited for a confident and flexible OR RN with a trauma background and the ability to work across a wide range of surgical specialties.

Facility & Role Overview:

• Location: New Britain, CT

• Hospital: Level 2 Trauma Center

• Schedule: 40 hours/week | Mostly 4x10s with occasional 8s or 12s

• Shift Start Times: Primarily 7:00 AM, with occasional 10:30 AM starts based on OR needs

• Weekends: Every 5th Saturday rotation

• On-Call & Holidays: Not required unless voluntarily picked up

• Charge Responsibility: Some charge duties required

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of OR RN experience

• Trauma experience required

• Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical specialties including:

• Ortho Trauma

• Spine and Neuro (craniotomies, anterior approach, stealth navigation)

• Robotics (Da Vinci Xi)

• Large abdominal and general surgery cases

• Must be comfortable working in a team where everyone is expected to rotate through all specialties

  Additional Requirements:

  • EMR: EPIC (required)

  • Certifications: Active RN license, BLS (AHA)
