Job Description
Join Sanford Health as a Medical Assistant in the Cardiology Clinic, where you will assist with patient care in a supportive environment. You'll collaborate with healthcare providers and build lasting relationships with patients while contributing to their health journey.
Key Responsibilities
Collect subjective and objective health status data from the patient
Follow through on the patient’s plan of care under the direction of the provider
Communicate the provider’s written instructions for care to the patient
Participate in care for patients across the lifespan
Obtain vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and perform point of care testing
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program
Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a healthcare setting
