Job Summary


CHA Cambridge Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in MedSurg and Telemetry to join their team. This is a travel position requiring a minimum of two years of recent experience, with a strong preference for candidates with prior travel assignments. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying and interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing a diverse patient population.


Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
    • Must have travel experience to be considered; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
    • Experience with post-operative surgical patients (General, Orthopedics, GYN, Vascular) is required.
    • Experience with patients presenting with Heart Failure, Chest Pain, Pneumonia, Cellulitis, Pancreatitis, and Alcohol Withdrawal is required.
  • Skills:
    • The ability to identify cardiac rhythms every 4 hours is essential, as there is no central monitor technician.
    • Proficiency with EPIC charting system is required.
    • Experience with specific medications such as Heparin, TPN, Lasix, and non-titrating Cardizem is necessary.
    • The candidate must be comfortable floating to other units if needed.
  • Licensure & Certifications:
    • AHA BLS is required.
  • Additional Information:
    • The facility has a 50-mile radius rule, but will accept local candidates at a local rate.
    • Fluency in other languages, particularly Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole, is a plus.
