Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ care needs and develop a plan of care.
• Provide and coordinate nursing care to individuals and groups.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
• Document, report, and verify necessary information.
• Monitor and report potential risks to patient safety.
• Promote a patient-centered, compassionate care environment.
• Function as a clinical leader and delegate staff assignments.
• Implement and review patient care protocols and standards.
• Maintain professionalism and role model organizational values.
• Support recovery-focused and person-centered care.
• Maintain annual programmatic training and competency.
• May function as charge nurse and supervise staff.
